Location: Remote / Nationwide
Compensation: Commission-Only (Uncapped Earning Potential)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly energetic, driven Sales and Business Development Consultant with experience selling into the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal, state, and local government agencies. This role focuses on driving revenue through the sale of specialized cybersecurity training and certification programs required for government employees and contractors.

Our training solutions support workforce compliance requirements such as DoD cybersecurity workforce qualification standards, federal cybersecurity mandates, and contractor certification requirements.

This is a commission-only opportunity with significant earning potential for a motivated professional who understands the government sales cycle and thrives in a performance-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting DoD components, federal civilian agencies, state agencies, and government contractors

Identify mandatory cybersecurity training and certification requirements (including workforce qualification standards)

Build relationships with contracting officers, CORs, program managers, training coordinators, and small business offices

Pursue opportunities through contract vehicles and subcontracting channels

Respond to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs where training support is required

Position certification-focused training programs aligned with mission readiness and compliance

Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract award

Target Certifications & Training Areas May Include

CompTIA certifications (Security+, CySA+, CASP+, Network+)

(ISC)² certifications (CISSP, SSCP, CCSP)

ISACA certifications (CISM, CISA, CRISC)

DoD cybersecurity workforce compliance training aligned with DoD workforce qualification frameworks

Cloud security training aligned with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft government environments

Qualifications

Proven experience selling to DoD, federal agencies, or government contractors

Familiarity with government procurement processes and contract vehicles (GSA, GWACs, IDIQs preferred)

Strong understanding of cybersecurity workforce compliance requirements

Existing relationships within defense or federal cybersecurity communities preferred

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills

Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
