Appointment Setter

We perform a FREE service. Our company sends out 16' box trucks to different business neighborhoods. These box trucks stop by and pick up non-working electronics like computers, printers and monitors from businesses looking to recycle them. We have dozens of reps that call into business areas and deliver the following script 175 times per day:

"I have a time sensitive question for you. A week from “Tuesday” we are doing a Free Electronics Recycling Event for “Naperville”. Our trucks will stop by and pick up, at no charge, things like Computers, Printers and Monitors. Would you be the one I would email or speak with regarding our recycle event next Tuesday?"

Our reps have set over 4,100 appointments in the last 20 months.

We have a method of using Google Satellite that exposes different business areas that reps call into.

We have created an easy and quick way for reps to click the rooftop of the business in Google Satellite and expose the business phone number and dial it.

On average, 1 out of 18 businesses is currently holding electronics that need to be recycled. Since they normally have to pay for a service to come pick up the items, they gladly set an appointment to have our truck stop by in the next day or two. That Appointment gets entered into our CRM and $9 is paid out.

On average, 2 out of 18 businesses think they need the service but are either not the right person to speak with or need to confirm with their corporate office that they can have our truck stop by. These are Potential Pickups.

Reps have a choice here. They can turn in the Potential Pickup for $3 or they can continue to follow up with that company until it becomes a scheduled pickup that will get entered into our CRM. The Potential Pickup is now a confirmed Pick-Up and will pay out at $9.

We provide the reps the exact area they will call into one week in advance with exactly what areas and towns a truck will be in. Once the reps know that a truck will be in a certain town or neighborhood, they call into that town or neighborhood and talk to as many businesses until each day the truck becomes full. Once a rep realizes they have filled a truck, they call their manager to see if a second truck is available, or should they begin scheduling for the next day.

We have a fantastic training packet that includes F.A.Q.s and short videos of reps setting actual appointments in under 3 minutes.

The best part of this job is that many of your Appointments will need repeat pickups each year. Each time they call or email you back for another pickup, you will re-enter them into the CRM and get paid again!!!

Some of our reps that have been here a year spend much of their day entering repeat pickups from the emails and calls they receive each day. For those that like talking with people, this job is actually fun.
