A Energy and Commodities Recruitment company based in Singapore is looking to hire a talented telephone researcher to support it's business in Singapore. This role will be 80% telephone based and 20% Internet based (Google Chrome & Linkedin). The role is to contact candidates to 'sell' them job opportunities but also to network and find new names to approach we do not have on our database.
The Role: -
To support the Senior Consultants in researching names, job titles and job responsibilities of people working for energy & commodities space. Energy & Commodities are companies that trade oil, metals, agriculture, LNG, coal, and iron ore across Asia Pacific. Most of the phone calls will be to Singapore companies so people will need to be able to work Singapore hours, Monday to Friday and will need to be competent in networking with people over the phone to qualify them, but also extract information from them.
Mandatory Requirements: -
- Must have excellent spoken English and written English skills
- Must be a self starter / self motivated with a proven track record in telephone lead generation and / or telephone research skills.
- Must be able to work independently, be able to think 'outside of the box' and come up with ideas to find names of people, and build out information on them
Desirable Requirements
- Energy & Commodities research experience would be great but not a mandatory requirement
- Experience of working as a researcher for a recruitment / Executive Search company would be ideal also but not mandatory.
Expected Daily KPIs
- Speak to 20 people per day
- Requested information properly collected and recorded properly (Full name, Job Title, Mobile, Personal Email, Years experience, Key Skills)
- Working hours (5 hours per day, 1pm - 6pm Singapore time)
Training and length of contract: -
The role will be offered on a trial basis to begin with of 1 month. During this time the right person will be assessed on their ability to learn quickly, their drive & motivation, but more importantly on their ability to achieve the daily KPIs and ultimately get results! Should both parties be happy, the role will be offered permanently.
Commission: -
The hourly rate is $5 USD per hour, to work from 1pm - 6pm Singapore hours. Should a person contribute to a placement an additional commission fee will be paid to the person of $500 USD per placement. I would be expecting this person to be able to work on 4 projects per month minimum, so the commission if somebody learns quickly, is consistent and reliable is realistic. After a period of 12 months a review of the hourly rate and commission rate will be made, based on performance as well as ongoing training.
