Local Coquitlam fitness centre is seeking a Part Time Membership Sales Consultant who is responsible for producing consistent monthly sales by enrolling prospective members in the studio utilizing our specific enrollment process. The Membership Sales Consultant participates actively in the member retention process by providing an enthusiastic level of service to all existing members and supports the studio, programs, staff and members.
Required Skills
We are looking for a passionate, positive, focused and driven Membership Sales Consultant.
Candidates must have:
- Minimum 1 year experience in fitness sales or management preferred.
- Knowledge of the membership sales process, cross-selling and up-selling to members.
- Ability to evaluate and enrol prospective members.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel in Windows format.
- Ability to initiate and create friendly relationships with members, guests and staff.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and non-verbally to members, guests and staff in person as well as over the phone.
- Ability to create and present powerful presentations to large or small groups.
- Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changing work environments.
- Ability to take initiative, ownership and prioritize tasks.
- Exhibit a professional and polite appearance at all times.
