Advertising Sales Representative for Community Newspapers

London Publishing Corp publishes several local community newspapers in cities across the Greater Toronto Area (Ontario, Canada).

We are looking for a sales representative who will be responsible for new business development / cold calling and sales of the classified and service directory section of each newspaper. Each newspaper prints on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities will include:
- Cold Calling local businesses in each community to sell print advertising - average of 100 - 150 calls per day
- Follow up calls and emails for business development
- Selling long term contracts in the service directory
- Sourcing new leads to call
- Tracking sales information in the company's tracking system
- Weekly reporting for sales prospects and converted sales
- Responsible for Full Sales cycle - cold calling, selling / closing sale, obtaining payment information, obtaining content for their advertising in the newspaper, etc.

Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years inside sales experience
- Love cold calling small business owners
- Experience selling services
- Assertive and friendly
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable & honest
- Able to work from 9am - 5pm EST, Monday - Friday
- YOU MUST LOVE TO SELL

Pay is lucrative - hourly base pay + AMAZING Commissions on the sales you bring in + Sales Bonuses. HOURLY PAY IS $3.33 AN HOUR ON UPWORK + COMMISSIONS + BONUSES.

This is a full time, long term position. Working hours are from 9am - 5pm, EST, Monday - Friday.
