HOURLY RATE PLUS GREAT COMMISSION!
Established business creating and improving websites, based in Melbourne Australia with clients in UK, Hong Kong and Australia. We seek to expand our business in and around Melbourne. With a population of more than 4 million, and with more than 500,000 small businesses in the state of Victoria, the market is relatively untapped, and as yet comparatively unsophisticated.
The role
• Outbound calls/email marketing to small businesses in the Greater Melbourne area
• Required: Excellent communications skills in English
• Desirable: Experience of selling to SME’s in the Australian marketplace
• Desirable: Some industry experience would be beneficial
• Telemarketer to research and generate own leads, guidance and assistance with scripts provided
• Targeting SME’s with no website, with a website that requires updating, or with a website that needs to be made compatible with mobile devices
• Objective: to make appointments with decision makers
• Secondary objective: to pass on live leads to the company where the telemarketer has been unable to settle an appointment but has determined there is a real prospect of winning the business
• Industry-specific phone apps are under development for late 2015 release and will be added to product portfolio
Terms & Conditions
• Telemarketer will report to CEO or as directed, and will submit a brief daily activity report in the designated format
• A marketing plan will be regularly prepared and revised to include target business sectors, specific geographic areas and other operational matters
• Base rate (to cover expenses) AUD$2.50/hr
• For qualified appointments made by the telemarketer, AUD$20 (twenty Australian dollars) per three leads from businesses that say yes to needing our service
• The telemarketer should be able to prospect at least 20 prospective clients per day
• On all sales generated from clients sourced by the telemarketer, 7.5% (seven and a half percent) commission on invoice value net of sales tax will be payable to the telemarketer
• In the event that the telemarketer does not secure an appointment with a prospective client, yet judges that the there is a real prospect of securing business with that client and passes on the client’s contact details to the company, and in the event that the company contacts the client and wins business as a result, then the telemarketer will earn the same 7.5% (seven and a half percent) commission as above
