Student Outreach Specialist

Our school is dedicated to supporting students in their educational and financial journey. We are currently seeking a Student Outreach Specialist to join our team and assist past students facing challenges with student loan payments and employment verification.

Job Description:
As a Student Loan Outreach Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our former students navigate the complexities of student loan repayment while ensuring accurate employment verification. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Student Loan Support:
Contacting past students who may be experiencing difficulties with their student loan payments.
Providing information about repayment options, deferment, and consolidation to assist students in managing their loans effectively.
Offering guidance on federal loan forgiveness programs and eligibility criteria.
Create an appoitment with our in house staff if needed

Employment Verification:
Collaborating with employers to verify the employment status of our past students.
Ensuring accurate and timely verification of student employment records.
Resolving discrepancies and ensuring the employment information is up-to-date.

Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of all communication and interactions with students.
Compiling and organizing documentation related to student loan inquiries and employment verification.

Customer Service:
Providing exceptional customer service by addressing student inquiries, concerns, and providing solutions.
Empathizing with students and offering support during challenging financial situations.

Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Empathetic and patient when dealing with students facing financial challenges.
